Graphite Electrode

A graphite electrode is a component used to transmit high currents of electricity to arc furnaces to melt a metal charge. Graphite electrodes in diameters of 100 to 700 mm are available in three categories: RP, HP and UHP. The high-current HP brigade is used for casting the kiln and sometimes for the operation of the electric arc furnace. High-current UHP types are used for electric arc furnaces and heavy-duty patel furnaces.
